Nick Tart, Newport are keen to support this local charity as Jo and her family live in Lilleshall and are very much part of the local community.
Princess Royal Hospital, Telford as well as Birmingham Childrens Hospital have been instrumental in providing Tommy with high quality treatment and have provided the family with continual emotional support.
Closer to home, within the past five years Niamhs Father was also diagnosed with Leukaemia and received treatment within the county and in Birmingham. Due to the high level of care and support Niamhs Father is now in recovery.
We will be working closely with Jo and her team supporting their local fundraising events and raising awareness.
PreventAll event - 19th November 2022 at Lilleshall Hall
PreventALL is a local charity based in Telford, we set up earlier this year to support research into the prevention of childhood leukaemia as well as help local families with children undergoing treatment. Our own little boy was diagnosed last year so this is something very dear to our hearts.
We are holding our first ever charity ball at Lilleshall Hall on Saturday 19th November and we are looking for local people and businesses to come along and enjoy an evening of food, fundraising and entertainment. We now have just two tables left for the PreventALL Winter Ball and we’re giving these away to the two best bidders. Help us to fill our venue, create an incredible atmosphere for our first ever ball and raise some money for childhood leukaemia…..a table for 10 to yourselves, pre dinner drinks, a 3 course meal for 10 people, party band, charity raffle and all for an amazing cause….place your best bid, whatever you’re willing to pay or donate and the two best bids will win! We will also add your corporate logo to our marketing/ sponsorship board for the evening. We hope to make this a regular annual event and would love to build relationships with any local businesses that are interested in supporting a charitable organisation within the local community. We are a small start up charity with big ambitions to help as many families as possible, in the hope they won’t have to go through what we have, or at the very least, make the long treatment process for leukaemia a little easier.
